Version Changeable
The GK-300 electric strike can easily be changed between fail-safe and fail-secure modes. This unique design enables distributors to reduce inventory and still meet varying needs and requirements of end users.

Automatic and Manual Functionality
All GEM electric strikes work in conjunction with the door latch and the key. Therefore if the door cannot be opened due to the lock bolt not retracting the key for the lock can be used to open the door .

CSIRO Fire-resistance Certificate
This product, its materials and assemblies have been proven to be fire resistant in accordance with the test procedures of Sponsored Investigation FSV 0609 and the terms of clause 4.1 of Australian Standard 1905, Part 1-1997.

Long life solenoids
Special solenoids designed for strength and long life guarantee a lifetime of at least 1,000,000 cycles.

High Jaw Strength
The GK-300 electric strike has rugged construction using stainless steel for the plate and keeper. The keeper has been designed to withstand a maximum of 910kg (2000 lbs) pulling force.

The GK-300 series electric strike is recommended for spring latch bolt application only and not for use with dead bolts.

Application

The installation of the GK-300 electric strike is dependent on the type of lockset. It can either be installed inside the door and door frame or mounted on the surface of the door with the GK-350 surface mount back case.

Different types of door and frame require the use of different models of e electric s strike. The GK-300 and GK-310 electric strikes are more suitable for metal door frames whilst the GK-301 and GK-311 electric strikes are for use with wooden door frames.

What's Latch Bolt Lock ?

A latch bolt lock is a lock comprising a latch bolt and a nib. When the door is closed, the nib makes the latch a dead bolt. The latch bolt locks into the strike keeper of the door frame to make sure that it is closed .

The GK-300 series electric strike have received patents in Taiwan , China , the USA and UK .
